Discover Cymbal of Charity's MISSION REbuild

Adopt a Community: Mission Rebuild

Launching July 2026

Beginning June 2026, Cymbal of Charity invites compassionate volunteers, church groups, families, and service-minded individuals to join us in Trelawny, Jamaica for our Adopt a Community Missionary Program—a hands-on opportunity to help rebuild and restore a community deeply impacted by Hurricane Melissa.

This is more than a mission trip; it is a chance to walk alongside a community, listen to their needs, and help lay the foundation for long-term recovery and hope.

What Volunteers Will Do

Participants will engage in essential charity events, helping with projects such as:

- Rebuilding homes and repairing structural damage

- Restoring community spaces (schools, churches, and farms)

- Supporting food distribution and garden development

- Assisting local families with repairs, organization, and clean-up

- Engaging children and youth through activities, mentorship, and outreach

No special skills are required—just a willing heart and a readiness to serve. Skilled tradespeople are especially welcome.

Why “Adopt a Community”?

Each year, our mission team will “adopt” one local community in Trelawny, focusing on:

- Long-term support, not one-time visits

- Sustainable development that empowers residents

- Building relationships with local families and leaders

Your presence, hands, and compassion will help transform lives in ways money alone cannot. By participating in this nonprofit initiative, you can make a real difference.

Who Can Join

- Individuals

- Churches and ministries

- Youth groups (ages 15+ with guardians)

- Service clubs

- Friends or family teams

Whether you can serve for 3 days, 1 week, or the full mission cycle, every volunteer contributes to lasting change.

What’s Included

All participants will receive:

- Lodging accommodations

- Transportation to and from the airport

- Daily transportation to project sites

- Orientation and safety training

- Community tours and cultural immersion

- Daily meals

- A closing celebration with the community

(Travel arrangements and airfare not included.)

Be Part of the Mission

This is your invitation to step out, give back, and become a part of something bigger than yourself. By joining the Adopt a Community mission, you help restore hope, rebuild homes, and strengthen a community that refuses to give up.

Don’t miss this opportunity to donate your time and resources to a worthy cause.

Registration opens soon. Spaces will be limited. Sign up today to receive updates, secure your spot, and begin your journey to make an impact in Trelawny, Jamaica.
